(Soul) Interview Overcoming Trauma with Gina Johnson
I was given the opportunity to share my story on, Author of Your Own Story, and for the first time spoke publicly about my experience being given the date rape drug and being raped when I was a teenager. It impacted my personal and professional relationships for nearly 20 years and until it came up, near the 20-minute mark of the interview, I hadn’t realized that I have healed from it.
Everyone has a story within them and as Doug Holt has put it, you can rewrite the narrative of yours anytime that you wish. I am working on doing that every day and I invite you to join me.
